Inter-Generational Playgroup

During school terms, playgroup meets weekly. We are currently hosting a Thursday playgroup meeting on Thursday 9.30 – 11.30am.  Being ‘Inter-generational’ means there are senior members of our congregation that help, play with the children and offer support to the parents. Grandparents who care for their children are also very welcome. Check out our introduction video created by Playgroup WA below.

If you have a small group that are interested in starting a Playgroup we have availability for other group times.  Please contact Mary Elton [email protected] to discuss the options with her to join our existing group, or start a new one.  You can also find out more about our playgroup via Facebook – www.fb.me/mrucplaygroup

Ecumenical Meditation

This session is held on a Thursday at 1pm, during school term. It is a small group that follows the format of, and is supported by, the World Community of Christian Meditation. We listen to a short reading either from the Christian Tradition or on meditation before entering into 20 minutes of silent meditation, followed by some music. Participants are invited to share if they want or to leave quietly at the end of the session. It is a supportive group and ideal for anyone just start out on a meditative journey. All are welcome – all faiths and no faith! Contact Mary on 0429 797 767 for further details.
