The focus for Sustainable September in 2021 is Earth, Sea and Sky. The Uniting Church has always had a deep concern for the environment And takes seriously the call the care for creation. Sustainable September gives us Time to reflect on how our actions maintain, use or spoil the Earth’s resources. We continue to work and pray for a world for all to share, both now and in the future. On Saturday 12th September at 11.30, we will show the documentary ‘Albatross’, showing the devastating impact on a colony of Albatross in the Pacific Ocean. Entry will be by donation at the door, with proceeds going to Tangaroa Blue, who will be present with information and to chat about their work in protecting our oceans.
