Sunday Worship – 9.30am

60 Tingle Ave, Margaret River

Welcome to Rev Craig Bosman joining us in ministry together with the Augusta Faith Community and as Rural Resourcing Minister for the Presbytery of Western Australia.

Welcome 3

Hello! my name is Craig, and I’m privileged to be the Minister in Margaret River and Augusta for 2 days a week. During the other 3 days, I serve as the Rural Resource Minister for the Uniting Church of WA. In my approach to ministry, I strive to be ecumenical, contemplative, and open-minded. I enjoy journeying with people, listening actively and reflectively to their stories, and helping them find their own way to wholeness. I am passionate about contemplative practice and see it as playing an indispensable role in spiritual formation and personal transformation. As I serve here, I hope to encourage spiritual growth through contemplation and action, while contributing to the ‘everyone belongs’ flavour of our congregation. I’m married to Gen, and we have two children. I enjoy walking in the bush and at the beach, swimming in the sea, and reading.

Education: Bachelor of Commerce (2001, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg), Bachelor of Theology (2010, Baptist Theological College of Southern Africa, Randburg), Master of Philosophy in Theology (2024, Notre Dame Freemantle, WA).

Previous Ministerial Work: Research Journalist (2010-2011, Transworld Radio, Johannesburg), Associate Pastor (2011-2013, Wychwood Baptist Church, Johannesburg), Sole Pastor (2013-2018 Griffith Baptist Church, Regional NSW), Senior Pastor (2018-2021, Margaret River Baptist Church, South-West WA), School Chaplaincy Manager in WA (2022-2024, SU Australia).
