In 2017 a little group of women living around the South West found each other and became a happy sisterhood. They recognised each other by their wild fluffy hair, colourful garments, shiny faces and creative vibrations. They began meeting together regularly to study the art of thankfulness and other beautiful things women need to do life well. Then they began to have sing a longs around the piano..and Charis Ensemble was born! Comprised of luscious ladies hailing from Cowaramup, Yallingup, Manjimup, Dunsborough and Margaret River; Charis (meaning GRACE, kindness and life in Greek) Ensemble are just spreading their wings into musical experimentation with four part harmonies, acoustic instruments, body percussions and drumming. And it’s their pleasure to take you on a musical journey at the Deep Listeni g Festival!
