Intergenerational Playgroup
There was plenty of joy in the Easter celebrations at our final session of playgroup for term 1. Muriel read a delightful book called ‘Easter Bunny’s Helper’ before everyone headed out into the nature play area to discover some Easter Treasures. Children followed the path of bunny footprints delighting in finding and sharing the eggs and chicks that were hidden in the garden. Children made their own Easter baskets to take home along with a book to share with their families, called ‘Easter Around the Deep Blue World.’ It was a fabulous time together, especially as a lot of our families are still feeling the extended separation from their families overseas.
Easter Services
Easter Services entered into the journey from Good Friday to Easter Sunday with some beautiful symbolism, assisting in making Easter a very meaningful time for all. The effort that our worship leaders take in preparing our services is to be commended and is very much appreciated.
